Botanical name: Uncaria rhynchophylla

Part used: Dried vine, twig and thorn

Ingredients: Dried Uncaria rhynchophylla, certified organic non-GMO cane alcohol, organic apple cider vinegar and pure Adirondack water.

Percentage of alcohol used: 60-65%  

Percentage of organic apple cider vinegar: 5%

Ratio plant to menstruum: 1:5

About: This is an evergreen climbing shrub/vine from south China and Japan. It is sweet, bitter and cooling and has a long history of use in Chinese medicine. Best used in formula or taken with other herbs.
