About: Solomon Seal grows in the woodlands of the Northeast, often in the richer soils found in hardwood stands. In the wild, these graceful arching plants are most often small, with slender rhizomes. This restorative herb can also be grown in partial shade in gardens where it will grow tall and elegantly, with large, thick rhizomes. 

The roots which are sweet, cooling and demulcent, are restorative for the muscular-skeletal system, supportive to the joints along with tendons, ligaments and cartilage.  Solomon seal roots are also moistening and supportive for women who may experience inflammation or dryness~ soothing the mucous membranes and helping with lubrication of the vaginal tissue. 

Considered nourishing and building, these roots can be supportive for women who wish to conceive, new mothers, as well as women going through menopause and in the elder years.
